    You first think about what is your dream. If it is only nursing then it is good, but when it is to become a doctor, then it is very good. But you have to do hard working for this. Some medical school require A level in Chemistry, some require in Biology. For candidates without science subjects to offer at A level (or equivalent), it is possible to undertake an additional pre-medical year at some universities. The pre-medical year is a preliminary course in chemistry, physics and biology and lasts normally 30 weeks. Then you will be eligible to apply for medical school. Now, come to the cost. You show a lot of energy and determination. You'll need to choose a field: either physician or a nurse. Nursing is typically 3-4 years long and you can go to nursing school right out of high school. If you want to become a surgeon, you will need a 4-year undergraduate degree. It is possible to major in business but you will also need to take courses focused on sciences: biology and chemistry. After your bachelor's degree, you will need 4 years of medical school and then a surgical residency that is about 4 more years. Given the culture in this country of what is going on in health care, I would strongly advise moving toward a career as a nurse practitioner rather than a physician. Becoming a physician will give you extreme debt. WIth Obama care you will likely never repay your student loans
