Is it hard to transfer over a nursing degree obtained in Australia to Sweden?

Can i transfer my associates degree in nursing to another school for a bachelors degree?

    It depends what you are asking. If you are an RN with an ADN, you qualify for a ADN/RN to BSN program. You will not be a transfer student, but most of your GE and PreReqs will transfer. You may need to take some additional GE prereqs for the School. As far as Patricia's answer, ADN to BSN *can* be done online if the school offer is. Also, employers do NOT want a MSN. The MSN degree is for management, teaching, or research. Hospitals and clinics want a BSN. Good Luck

Most colleges will allow you to transfer a certain number of credits, but what you're really wanting to know is, if your AA credits will meet the educational requirements in the same areas for the new school - science credits transfer as science credits, nursing courses transfer towards your core requirements, etc. This varies from school to school. Talk to the 4-year college first to see what they accept and from whom and plan accordingly. If the AA credits would not meet the 4 year school requirements by transferring one to one I would not waste my time and money taking courses that don't meet the BSN requirements of the four year program. And, no, you cannot obtain a BSN online; however, since most employers want master degreed nurses, you can take master level courses online. Good luck.
