  • Answer:

What's the job market for IT in your country of citizenship? Student visas are temporary NON-immigration class of visas issued on the condition that foreign students return to their country of citizenship immediately upon completion or termination of studies. You cannot remain in Ireland. Furthermore, since the 2008 economic meltdown & nationalization of Ireland's banks, the economy has not recovered, and unemployment rates are officially 30% (unofficially, meaning unmanipulated, more than that). There are NO jobs for you, no visas for you, and no way you are going to remain in Ireland. Ensure the university you attend is recognized & respected by employers in your country of citizenship. That's the only place you can work.

Other answers

Well if you go there it would be the only place to study, wouldn't it? How long it wold take to find a job in IT would depend on 1) where you are looking for the job and 2) the demand for the job at the time you apply. The university will have a counseling office that answers questions like this, you might want to get in touch with them BEFORE heading to Ireland.
