On what pc games can an xbox 360 controller work on?

360 controllers are Plug & Play by default with drivers already loaded into Windows Vista and up. It's considered a human interface device under Windows.

I think you would need to look up the specs of the PC games you're interested in playing to find the exact answer. In my experience, purchasing a wired controller from a 3rd party seller is usually the easiest and most affordable route to go. It has a USB 2.0 cable that plugs right into your laptop or PC, you install some drivers probably and then you're ready to play. I think in most games, you'll have to go into the basic settings and change them to an outside controller and not the keyboard.
