How do I set up my pc controller?

Dark souls 2 PC is showing the buttons on a controller, how can i set it to Keyboard?

  Yes both Dark souls I and II had this. They were originally meant to be console games that luckly got a PC port later. This means that they have XBOX or PS3 buttons for all of the menus. Sadly there is no way to change this without the use of Mods. But even then I don't think anyone can make a mod that would erase the files for the xbox buttons and replace them with whatevery keybinds you have. If you are getting confused as to which key does what, I guess you'll have to have to look up online what the default keys are. Don't worry though, the controls to the Dark Souls games are relatively straight forward. It's the execution of them that matters.
