Can you use the wii controller to play gamecube games?

I'm sorry to report that when you start up a Gamecube title in your original Wii (RVL-001), your Wii enters "Gamecube Mode" & will disable ALL Non-Gamecube essential components. Items disabled in Gamecube Mode are... * Internal Storage -- You will need a Gamecube Memory Card to save your progress. * SD Card Slot * USB Ports * WiFi Card * Bluetooth Card (used by Wiimotes) -- You will need a Gamecube controller to play your games. Once in "Gamecube Mode", your Will will act like a regular Gamecube until you MANUALLY turn it off (again, the Bluetooth card in the Wii is disabled, so you cannot turn the Wii off with a Wiimote). Once off, all Wii components will be re-enabled & can be turned on with a Wiimote again.
