I softmodded my wii but still cant detect usb drive? pls help?

Not all USB drives are compatible, here is a list of tested drives/enclosures http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/USB_Devices_Compatibility_List I personally haven't had any issues with WD My Book USB 2.0 drives 500GB, 750GB, 1TB, or 2TB(partitioned into 1TB FAT32/1TB NTFS) or San Disk Cruzers 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, or 32GB. I did have a 16GB PNY Micro Sleek Attache drive that just would NOT work no matter what I tired. The only cIOSs that could make a difference would be the d2x v10 or the d2x v10-alt. Get Modmii, http://modmii.zzl.org/ , install it on your Windows computer, run from the new shortcut Modmii (not Modmii Skin). You'll want to got download page 4 and type beta, change to the beta53-alt version, type 24956 then 25057 then d to get to download. Once those have downloaded you can either try them right away or go back and build the beta52 version also then have them both on your SD card to tryout.
