How do i get my ps3 to play 3D movies?

• Hey, so i know that it is capable of playing the 3d movies but idk where to go to get that to activated. Anybody know how? Thanks to those who help

  you need 3 things a ps3 that has been updated to version 4,0 or higher a 3D HDTV with 3D glasses an hdmi version 1,4 cable ( high speed hdmi that allows 3d content , the cheaper version 1,3 hdmi cables can not give 3D ) when the ps3 senses the movie can be played in 3d or you start it in 3d from the discs menu the tv will receive a signal and know to switch to 3D mode , or with some models you change manually to 3d mode for games the ps3 will sense you have a 3dtv when its in 3d mode and ask if you want to play the game in 3d , or some games and TVs change automatically when you choose the 3d mode on the games menu
