Like when everyone on your friend list can see who you just became friends with. Will facebook notify everyone if you change your name?

Hey UmOhWell, Your Facebook friends will not be notified, no. They will probably know it's you when and if you post something, by your profile picture. Facebook doesn't notify any of your connected friends about changes you've made on your profile (unless you post a status about it). They manually will find out once they see a post from you or go to your profile.
