  You can hide it in your Timeline by hover your mouse on top right of the post and click the "v" over there to see the "hide" option. But it's only hide it in your Timeline, so your friends & his might still see that in their News Feed. In order to prevent this, as your uncle you said "posted" in your Timeline, then you've to set "who see what others post in your Timeline" to Only Me (your uncle still can see this, also you, but not others), but then this setting applied to others who posted in your Timeline as well. So everything has plus & minus; if you only want that for that particular post, the only way is to delete that post, which you don't want to do as it will hurt him. Your decision then.
