Hey How do you make video montages?

Can you make money making montages from original footage such as making a music video with footage from a racing event on YouTube?

    If you don't own the copyright of the clips then no, when making money from them if you get caught copyrighting the WHOLE revenue will go to the original owner. ALTERNATIVELY yes if you have the privileges to use the clips and have some sort of document that says your aloud to use it for commercial use then go ahead! Just be real careful with copyright,you don't want to waste time doing a montage for your video to be taken down/account to be suspended. Hope it helps a little :)
