  • Answer:

Adopt from foster care. These are the children who have been abused or neglected by their natural family and really need new homes. Most newborns already have loving parents who just need a bit of extra support in looking after them. Adoption from foster care is free, you're less likely to be scammed, and you'll know that you're helping a child who really needs it. Tracking down vulnerable pregnant women isn't an ethical way of trying to adopt, in my opinion.

You're in your early 30s and have a child that is 18? I call B.S. You're getting scammed because you're doing something that is borderline illegal: trying to buy a baby. You have empty nest syndrome (IF you do really have a child who is about to graduate). Get a cat. The Humane Society is full of them.
