I need to write a poem about alone using one similes and one metaphors. It can be long or short lines each. Help please!?!?

  To get in touch with your own feelings about the word "alone," do what is called a "word horde" by writing that word in the middle of a blank sheet of paper. Then do free association, sometimes helped if you close your eyes, and allow yourself to sense or see all of the meanings of the word "alone" from your own experiences or perspectives. Write down every single word that comes to mind as you do this in a scattered circle built around the original "seed" word. As you do this exercise a pattern begins to emerge that triggers your inspiration. The mood takes shape, too...and you then get to decide whether this "alone" idea is a positive or a negative...a blessing or a sorrow...(or a combination of each)...and your poem begins to shape itself.
