How to determine how much a website should charge for ads?

How would you determine that? Lets say the site gets 120000 views a month, how much would it charge for ads? If I did not give enough info please make an example to help me out thanks

Generally, pay-per-click is $0.50 or so a click and Pay per impression (view), AKA CPM, is about $0.01-0.02 per view. Also, you can charge monthly rather than per click or impression. Take the number of views your have, multiply it by the CPM, then increase the rate a little bit. Another way to make money with ads (well sorta) is through affiliate advertising.
