Gargle with warm salt water and take some tylenol. If it doesn't go away you may need to see a doctor. Get a mirror and look to the back of your throat and tonsils. If you have white spots you may have strep throat which the doctor can give you some treatment for. In the interim the salt water will kill the bacteria in your throat on contact and keep the bacterial count down which is a good thing.
