How do you stop wet football boots smelling?

My feet hurt when i wear my football boots?

  • When i wear my football boots the bottom of my feet hurt, is there any thing i can do to stop the pain?

  • Answer:

Work in the boots. If you're a teen, this is pretty common as you have growth plates in your feet. This plate can become swollen an inflamed from over-use or hard impacts, producing a temporary condition known as Sever's Disease. It has no long-term effects, but it quite painful for the time being. Regardless of what is causing the pain, your best plan is to ice it. When I experienced those symptoms, it was recommended by an orthopedist that I take a paper cup, freeze water in it, then peel the edges so the ice block stuck out a bit. I would then rub it on my heel, peeling it down more the more the ice melted. Over the counter anti-inflammatory medications like Advil or Aleve may help relieve some of the pain. Hope you feel better, ask your doctor about it the next time you see him. You probably don't need to go straight to him unless the pain is really persistent, or happens when you are simply walking around or sitting down.
