    ONLY use the College Board book (the blue book). Barron's makes the test WAY harder than it should be. Barron's tests you on trigonometric identities (sine, cosine, etc), but the College Board insists that you don't ever need these identities. And some questions in the Barron's book require the use of a calculator, but really, you could solve all the questions WITHOUT a calculator. Really, the math concepts are not hard. The math sections is an amalgam of Algebra I, Geometry, and tad bits of Algebra II. The thing the makes the math section so hard is because it requires advanced REASONING, not advanced knowledge. So, yes, it does require some English skills as well.

Contains the most complete review. Also provides new strategies and thoroughly explains each concept. This is if you need more. Be aware that this deal with the math part of the SAT. If you are taking the math subject tests, you need different books for that. Again, College Board is the best source. The Official SAT Subject Tests in Mathematics Levels 1 & 2 Study Guide [Paperback] by The College Board Good luck! It will be difficult to improve your score because it is already above average. You may want to consider the on-line course offered by college board or a course or tutor with a proven success record.
