Is it possible to improve my SAT score by 600 points in 7 months? Any advice?

I really need a 2000 score on the SAT and I got a 540 reading, 420 math, and 490 writing for a score of 1450 on the Spring test. Bad, I know, but this was without studying and only ...show more

That's a bit unrealistic. Most students can't raise their score more than 300 points from the first try, and that's with private tutoring. There is a huge difference in ability between a 1450 and a 2000. Start out with a prep book such as the College Board Blue Book, and take timed practice tests to work on the timing.
