  • Answer:

it depends what you are realising. if you are just going oh, ok, i see what went wrong - you should NOT proceed. you want to be doing one or more of the following - saying oh, i missed another geometry problem about circles. i need to brush up on circles before i do another practice section. saying oh, i mixed up where to put everything for a proportion problem again, i need to practice that and watch out for that specific mistake in future proportion problems. iow, if you are not identifying a specific skill you should drill on or a specific pattern to be alert to, then moving on wont help much. going through practice tests homework style doesnt help much and often doesnt help at all. if those things are happening and you are brushing up on specific skills before moving on and learning things about your own patterns, great. you should do well selfstudying that way. if you read that and thought 'i dont know exactly whats going wrong and what to drill on" or "i am not seeing any patterns in my mistakes" then you should probably seek out some tutoring or other instruction before burning up more practice material selfstudying. your later selfstudy will be much more useful after that kind of direction.
