Is there still active Shaolin schools & active Shaolin temples today?

There are many ran by the government you can find online, they teach you basic principles but if you want the magic, the real stuff you have to go way deep in the mountains, where masters, and shaolin warrior monks are, and you will be tested because your a foreigner, they only show that side too you if you already know someone, prove yourself in fights, earn the respect an they have no choice.

Thats really tough there are two big schools but you have to be Purple Neath to know the to Dark Famens.

yes they do.. but most Chinese people don't like the way the new Abbot is handling things ... lots of Shaolin monks teach in other countries now.... their is only one shaolin temple and one Abbot the rest are schools...you can learn more about the Shaolin monks and martial arts on the internet.. Rex Kwan do is funny he makes fun of all martial arts...

Yes, there are quite a few. However only a couple are attached to the original Shaolin lineage (China & Australia both have one). There are many stand alone temples that you can pay to attend and they will teach you the basics of Shaolin Wushu & Chen Buddhism, but the traditional Shaolin still work mostly on "Invite only".
