Answer:
Hi there! Florida Virtual School actually offers a few ways to take your courses online. You can take some or just a few. You can take them any time during the year (over summer, mid-year, or any time!) or you can take them during a regular school year. Courses are free for all students in Florida. If you want to just take a few courses over summer, that's a great option. Get started by viewing our course catalog at http://www.flvs.net/courses. For some courses that are easier to complete over summer, go to http://www.flvs.net/summer. If you want to take all of your courses online next year, you can take all of your courses virtually as a homeschooler and create your own schedule -- or enroll in our full-time school, Florida Virtual School Full Time (FLVS FT). Enrollment is now open for next year. Learn more about FLVS FT at http://www.flvsft.com. If you have any more questions, give us a call at 800.374.1430 or stop by our Facebook page and we will be happy to answer them.

FLVS does offer summer courses: http://www.flvs.net/students/pages/summer-courses.aspx?source=flvshome I don't know if there is an enrollment deadline, you'd have to contact them. You may also have to pay. The site says the courses are available 24/7, so it looks like they're self-paced within a set deadline. You could possibly do a course in the 2.5 months that are left, but you'd have to ask them about the intended length of the courses. It is a public school, but not even all public schools follow the same calendar. It varies from district to district. Ours is out in June. Some are out in May. Same state

You would have to call them and ask what is available. However, as public schools they follow the same schedule as all the other public schools in FL and may not have summer courses. You should also make sure your current school will accept credits from any virtual school you complete courses from.
