    at 2, most casting agents will only look at twins or other multiples, because of child labor laws and the fact that kids that young tire easily, have super-short attention spans, and usually can't follow direction. i have found that age 5-7 is the best age, if your kid is interested, for them to start in the industry. if you do end up taking your kid into that world, you will need to be fully-available at any given time, able to travel, and probably home school your kid, because side memorization, auditioning, training, and set time will take up most of your time.

Katrina is right - but please don't do this. Let your son be a normal child, without the pressure of having to perform when he's far too young to understand what you're making him do. At his age, it can only be for your benefit, not his. Exploiting kids is an awful thing to do - no loving parent would subject their child to this business. Please think again.
