    If you're becoming an actress because you want to be famous, well known, or rich; you're doing it for all the wrong reasons. you should become and actress because it makes you happy, you love what you're doing, and you feel a sense of comfort being in front of a camera or up on a stage. what you want is completely realistic. the portion of actors/actresses that are actually famous, were either in the right place and the right time, or have loads of talent and experience before hand. many of those people you see on your tv screens started off in small community theater productions, or in plenty of workshops and classes. see all those people on tv or in plays that have one line, or just have the camera facing them once? they all imagined themselves as the lead, but that's not how the business works. anyway, I don't think you have any intention on becoming an actress for the right reasons, so first ask yourself, "why do I want to do this?"

you will need at least one parent that will actively do this with you. you can't do this yourself. one of your parents will need to get you all the places you will need to go and to sit on the set with you when you work. are you located where there are acting opportunities? you can't do this from everywhere, especially if you want mainstream acting work. first get acting classes. when you have learned how to audition you can look around you for community theater and student and ind. film auditions. their open calls a parent can get you on, and are good for experience and your resume. don't worry about fame, as you are going to be very dissappointed when that doesn't come about. just worry about getting to the right place, getting training and doing anything at all. take smaller steps, don't set goals for yourself that aren't feasible.
