Any good south Florida inshore fishing?

Is the deep sea fishing good when it is summer on Florida?

  • I was planning to go on a deep sea fishing trip to Florida in the summer and I just found out it rains basically everyday and was wondering if that would affect the fishing at all.

    Different kinds of fish are present different times of year. Many fish species migrate just like birds do. Summer is Snook time, and Tarpon. Redfish in the low light hours. We get the Mackerel types that migrate though spring and fall. King Mackerel, are big time. What about Cobia ? Cobia in the summer is great. Super nearshore fishing. Or Triple Tail their summer time fish also. So it is not so much when there is good fishing as it is what your fishing for. We have water, we have fish, just different ones with the time of year.

Florida is the Best place to fish year round! Grouper, Amberjack, Hogfish, Cobia, and big snapper which are the offshore or as you call it deep sea fish in florida generally caught at all times of the year. I've fished flats and offshore my whole life and offshore fishing is always good depending on the weather which is very easy to catch in the summer time in florida. of course the fishing is good in the summer, that's the best time there. even if it does rain it usually only last a few minutes but everytime I went deep sea fishing there it hasn't rained!
