    Try the Emigrant Wilderness off Highway 108 on the west side of Sonora Pass or the Hoover Wilderness on the east side of the Pass. The high lakes right along the north border of Yosemite Park are seldom visited.

For secluded, find just about any lake that's 3 days hike in from the nearest trailhead (15-20 miles). The fish may be small (especially if you're at 10,000 feet or higher) but there won't be a lot of people (if any) there.

Can't tell 'ya... they're secret and secluded. I mean, you're wanting to go fishing and backpacking with some friends, how do I know you and your friends won't trash the place or once you're done visiting home, your friends come back to those spots and wipe 'em out? I just can't take that risk.
