    I agree with august. Just don't thread your barrel yourself. If you have never threaded anything before the muzzle of your rifle isn't the equipment to practice on. Threads that aren't cut perfectly straight will cause you to shoot through the side of a suppressor. There are some things that kitchen gunsmiths can get away with. This isn't one of them. If I were you, I would just pay a gunsmith to thread my barrel.

First off, are suppressors legal in your state, and are you familiar with the legal process of obtaining one? Second, AFTER you have acquired it, take it to a trustworthy gunsmith WITH your rifle barrel, and have the gunsmith thread the barrel for you. This service will probably cost you around $100-$150
