Can you get rid of yahoo toolbar?

How can I get rid of Champions League icon on my Yahoo toolbar?

  • It is concerning that Yahoo! can just place something on my toolbar without my permission. Does anyone have any ideas on how to contact Yahoo or get rid of this plague of an icon?

    When that appeared my icons for Mail and Facebook got hidden in a white box with an arrow to access them. Why does Yahoo think their choice of icons belongs on the toolbar? Worse, there is no way to remove the Champions League icon. If Yahoo keeps putting their selections on the toolbar, the least they could do is hide them in the white box and leave mine visible.

I have the same problem! Yahoo won't help! It came there by itself! Very frustrating! Not pleasant, not right ! I'm pissed off!

Problem solved! Sign into yahoo account. Go to Yahoo privacy statement. This explains everything: Web browser Do Not Track settings are no longer enabled on Yahoo. Users receive a personalized experience by default. Go to "Manage settings here". Toolbar Settings >>>>>Preferences and settings (https://info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/yahoo/... Under "Relevant Advertising" on the sidebar, choose "Ad Interest Manager " >>>> Your Interest Categories >>>>Interest-based ads >>>>Select "Opt out" and "Sports.... Opt out". You might have to restart your browser.

There is a small grey bar at the end of the white box when moved back and forth changes the size of the box and leaves more room for your icons. I also want the Champions League icon removed from my toolbar!
