I know it is stressful, but you can relax. It should not take you four years to complete the four-year. It should take you three if you study hard. There should be a good number of credits that transfer over. From now until you graduate the four-year, be diligent with you academic advisors. Even sneakily ask other advisors whom you have a familiarity with for advice. I worked during the year before the four-year and it helped me pay tuition and get angry that I wasn't in school. Once you get to the four-year, kick ***.

It is possible to do a 4-year bachelor's in less time. I did it in 2-1/2 years at a highly competitive & one of the more demanding university while working full-time. However, you are seriously off on the wrong foot. An associate's degree at a community college (never a demanding program) normally takes 2 years and fulfills general education requirements for the average university. Now you're not going to get enough credits, especially completing requirements for your major and advanced courses, by spending too long in community college. Trying to transfer mid-year is always a bad idea, but especially so for foreign students. Plus you did not plan ahead properly and apply in time for a transfer. Remaining in community college another semester or another school year is a waste of time & money. It's just going to take you longer to complete degree requirements. The 4-yr school might not even transfer all your community college credits simply because they are low-level & intro courses, not the advanced courses for junior & senior year. At this rate, you have problems with your student visa, taking too long to do an associate's degree, and you can still expect to need another 2 years of work toward your bachelor's. Community college for an associate's, plus finishing a bachelor's at a 4-year university, should not take longer than 4 years total, if you are attending school full-time as required for all foreign students. You've really fouled up here.
