Do you have to study at College to study abroad?

If my college doesn't have a study abroad program in a country i want to go to, how can i study there?

  Most colleges will let you study anywhere you want, you just need to get the course pre-approved. Talk to your study abroad office. Most schools have a few "official" programs that the school participates in, but if you want to do another program that's hosted by a different school, or even design your own, that's not an issue. Talk to the study abroad office. That's their job - to help students with this sort of thing.
