Indian passport renewal in Switzerland?

I am transiting through Muscat on the way to Switzerland. I am an Indian holding an Indian passport. I have a layover time of 5 hrs. Do I need a visa for this transit?

  • Answer:

As far as my experience goes, answer is no, you don't need a visa. Just make sure you and your baggage are checked in all the way to Switzerland when you  get your boarding pass in Indian airport.

No you don't need .. You can find transit gate when you arrive in muscat .. Just make sure the airline from Muscat to Switzerland is same as the airline from India to Muscat to ensure the hassle free arrival of your luggage

The is not required as long if you have a valid destination country visa. To my knowledge guess only if you have more than 8 hrs of transit time, you can leave the airport provided if you transit country visa as well.
