Why won't yahoo messenger install correctly on my windows 7 computer?

It installs. But won't link to facebook. Tried with security on and off. Cookies on and off. Standard install with home page, custom install without home page. Makes no difference.

Hi, Do you have chat enabled on Facebook? If not, the chat function will not working in Messenger. Also, you might try linking your Facebook account in the main Yahoo Account page: Link and unlink your Yahoo account with Facebook: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/messenger-11.5/SLN3576.html Hope that helps!
