How do I delete my MSN chat history?

If I delete a chat history, will it delete my messages to them on there pc too?

  Hi, When you delete messages from your conversation history, it does not delete it from the other person's conversation history. This is because each account has it's own storage of this data, so the data would be deleted from the server your account is on but none of the others (assuming you had conversations with customers on other servers). Your conversation history would only be stored on your PC's hard drive if you were using a version of Messenger, prior to version 11. If you're conversation history is stored in your mail account, then it's not stored on your PC's hard drive. Lastly, there are no longer 'chat' servers. Yahoo Chat was closed over a year ago. So any conversations you've had there are long gone on any account that's upgraded to version 11 or greater. However, it is possible that they may be stored on some random individual's computer who chose to copy and save that information. This isn't something we have the ability to find or delete on your behalf. Hope that helps!
