How can I retrieve a conversation?

I can't retrieve my conversation history from Yahoo messenger. It says error code 401.?

    You should still be able to view everything from Yahoo mail. Go into Yahoo mail (assuming you have the latest version)? Up above “Compose” you’ll see maybe 5 symbols? One of those should be the messenger smiley face. If you push that, another box should open up where you can push the little arrow button beside whatever status it’s already showing, i.e. available, busy, invisible, offline, etc. And in the options on the menu that appears, further down it should say Conversation History. If you open that you should have all the conversations right there. I know it’s a longer process in order to see the conversations, but at the moment it seems to be all I’ve got as well. I suddenly started getting that 401 error message 3 days ago when trying to open the history straight from messenger.
