Do you think 14 is a good age to start working?

I'm 14 turning 15 in September, i want a job in the summer. Although i think the legal working age in Ottawa,ON is 16 what do i do?

    you can legally work a certain amount of part time hours a week from age 14 up. so until you're 16 just do part time

Go ask your parents if they know someone who is hiring, they may let you work for them, I was 14 and was about to get a job that paid me 5/hr but I didin't want to, but trust me, their may be a private job somewhere.

baby sit. dog walk, cut grass or find a senior in your area who can use someone to clean their house or just sit and chatt with them maybe they will pay u ask around

Be honest and wait.

You can always do babysitting and stuff! Also, if your around any hotels, sometimes they will hire you for housekeeping! You can always do little things too get money, if not having a real job :)
