How to wire Rockford fosgate r1000 1d mono amp to (2) kicker cvr 4 ohm subs in ported box?

(Subs) 2 kicker cvr 4 ohm each sub each sub can handle 400w rms

Answer:
The Kicker CVR is a dual voice coil sub. The R1000-1D amplifier isn't stable with 1-ohm loads. That means you'll need to wire the subs in a series/parallel configuration to make a 4-ohm combined load. The amp's rated power is 500 watts RMS at 4 ohms, so each sub gets 250 watts, which is a reasonably good match for these subs.
