That amp is a good match. Since the sub is 2 you should be looking at the amp's 2 ohm output which 500. JL provides a color coded power chart for all their subs. They consider the 13w3 to be "optimal" at 400w rms, and the warranty void at over 600w rms. So anything in the 400-600w range might be considered "optimal".
