How do I make Yahoo mail the major email account?

When i send an email from my y yahoo account,it appears in the recipient"s mailbox as Mail.Often it is deleted. how to make my name appear.?

Change your "from line" setting. ON YOUR MAIL PAGE----hover over the "Gear" icon (little wheel thing, top right) and in the drop menu click on "Settings". Then click on "Accounts" (menu on the left). Then click on "Edit" (on the right next to your address). Erase what is currently showing on the "from line"--(or "send as " line) and enter whatever you want your recipients to see. THEN click "SAVE".
