Can I find past e-mails?

How or where can I find my past emails; I can't even get into my April emails #*$ very frustrating!?

Before the BIG NEW & Improved at Yahoo, I could search back in time for several years. I pay them about $20/year.

I lost my emails from november till end of february, only few left, one from december... only discovered cos I was looking for a cepcific very important email!!!! Who would ever expect that BIG YAHOO company is SO UNRELIABLE! - I can't even get to anyone to help me out! not even any suggestion what do do. Only 7 days restore?? seriously?? I found that they are missing from my computer - as I always use my computer inbox (macBook) and when I found out they are not there - I checked my yahoo website - and they not even there!! This is Outrageous! Can some one please help me??!
