How can I search back in all my emails?

How can I lock the emails in my files from being deleted when I am doing a mass delete of mail with search words?

  Hello, Have you tried UN-CHECKING the emails you need to keep, before you hit the DELETE button? If not, that will help to keep those important messages. You can easily find them by the folder's name they are located. You can see the folder's name in between the date and subject of the email(s). Hope this helps!
