How to get rid of 554 5.7.9 Message not accepted for policy reasons? Yahoo "help" sends to useless DMARC page?
-
since 4/11 i am getting this error trying to send emails to yahoo accounts (and i have a yahoo account myself).
-
Answer:
That error indicates the message was sent from non-Yahoo Mail servers, but used a "yahoo.com" address in the "From" line. This type of email spoofing is no longer allowed by Yahoo after recent changes to our DMARC policies. You can learn more about the changes, and what senders need to do to be compliant, in the Tumblr posts below: An Update on our DMARC Policy to Protect Our Users http://yahoo.tumblr.com/post/82426971544/an-update-on-our-dmarc-policy-to-protect-our-users Yahoo DMARC Policy Change - What Should Senders Do? http://yahoomail.tumblr.com/post/82426900353/yahoo-dmarc-policy-change-what-should-senders-do
