Why is my emails nickname different than my name? how do i fix it?

I changed my surname but it still shows up on outgoing emails as the wrong name. How can I fix it?

  I imagine that these are the steps you are taking, but i am providing them just in case. If this is what you are doing and it still does not work I have additional info. You can click on my Avatar and then click on EMAIL to the right of my photo on the next screen and tell me what is going on....Using this system does not display your actual email address to me. Select SETTINGS..(Mail Options in the older format) Click on ACCOUNTS and then click on EDIT to the right of your email address. Enter the SENDING NAME that you want. ==================================== If you leave the From name blank recipients will see your email address in their inbox, which you cannot hide. ==================================== Leaving the Reply To box blank any email of yours that is Replied to will come back to your email address ==================================== Click Save when done
