you wont find any surf near london. cornwall, newquay in particular which is where i live is one of the best surfing areas in the world due to the atlantic swells.

Smiths you can buy Ordnance Survey Landranger or Explorer maps for every area in the U.K.. Large scale maps showing the countryside in great detail including hiking trails.
