When alpha/beta version is going to be stable?

Is Yahoo considering going back to the version before this one? This version is so confusing in too many ways?

  • I have entered my concerns into Feedback and tried to contact Yahoo, so I am tired of explaining the confusing aspects of this version. I am going to switch to Hotmail unless I see ...show more

  • Answer:

Most people hate it and you can tell it's much quieter here from people leaving but I doubt they will go back. A few days ago they cut the last work-around links to the green version. They made a big mistake but they will never admit it.

Hotmail? This category is about yahooANSWERS, not mail. If you are talking about answers, probably not. There's like a hundred suggestions and requests to do that, but yahoo hasn't responded to any of them in the last 7 months...

i feel with you but. ACCORDING to the CEO, ms mayers and YAHOO financial future it will be unlikely. the ceo instituted changes a year ago, when she became the ceo of yahoo. Her idea is to increase the base of younger audiences, they need to have more advertisements for revenue, thus the cumbersome yahooanswers.

No, it's doubtful they will change it back

Yahoo never goes back once they make a decision.

No, Yahoo is not going back to the previous version. You know that old green format everyone (now) says they liked so well? People were complaining about it until Yahoo started making changes. Then the old format was suddenly great! The same thing happened when Yahoo changed from the previous format into the green one you liked. People complained all over the place about it. It's just a reaction to change we did not choose, I think. Once you get used to this new format, you'll find it really isn't so bad after all. It's just a bit different, that's all. Go to the top of the categories list on the left and click on Answers Home. That is your homepage / profile page. Scroll down and there is a purple banner. At the right end, just under the purple banner, is a little arrow in a circle. Click on that and scroll down. There are links to your questions and answers. There is a shortcut, too, however. Up next to your name and photo on your profile page, you'll see your stats displayed. If you click on any of your stats -- Answers, Questions, or Best Answers -- they will actually take you to your answers, questions, or Best Answers. They are now real links, not just stats figures. Nice!

NO, probably not. Most of us have switched to other email accounts NOT hosted by Yahoo LONG ago, as in YEARS ago. BTW, Hotmail IS a Yahoo product. I think, or Yahoo has businesses relationship with that internet hosting business
