On Yahoo answers how do I choose how many points I want to give to the best answer?

Questions like that are a come-on. You can't give points, Y/A automatically awards 10 points. But you can give STARS! So, knock yourself out!

sounds somewhat like an idea- a choice to give less than 10 points rather than none, im putting it on feedback.

A person gets 10 points for a Best Answer. There is no 5 or 10 points, etc. I have a lot of points, but could care less. There's no reason to get points, actually, no blue ribbon or cash gift or any other reason for the points, except bragging rights maybe.

you don't choose the points, the system does So if you aware someone 'best answer' then that person will automatically get 10 points
