How can i get a virus out of my system 32 folder which is turning the files i send to a flash drive into short?

The System 32 is your Windows operating system, so be very careful about what you do inside that system. You need to run your anti virus protection(s) to see if the virus can be found and removed. If you have difficulty of any kind in the system 32 files, go to a local computer repair shop where the technician can help you out without having to reinstall the entire Windows operating system.

Obviously, scanning with your anti-virus or antispyware is good first move. But doesn't always find it. I use SUPERANTISPYWARE because it's very aggressive at finding things, finding little viruses hidden deep. YOu can download it FREE of charge at Majorgeeks.com, make sure it's the free version. I always use the COMPLETE scan, to make sure it searches everywhere. And to make sure......I also use NORMAN MALWARE Cleaner, also available free at MajorGeeks.com. It takes a bit to download, but just SAVE it to your computer, like into MY DOCUMENTS file. Then run it from there. As such, when you run it, choose the COMPLETE scan. It will run by itself and clean what needs, and show you the record of the results. It's my 'when everything else fails' program. You do not use this as normal antispyware. Only as last resort or to make sure you've got everything. And I'll bet the Norman Malware will find waht is causing your troubles. They release a new version every 3 days, so when you use NOrman Malware, it will first ask if you want to download newest version. You an say NO and keep using the older version for few weeks. these 2 programs should keep your computer clean of nasty viruses like that.

F8 on boot up Search for system restore Run it and choose an earlier date before virus , sometimes this will fix it.
