How do you find an apartment/flat in Hyderabad?

  • I have recently moved to Hyderabad from Pune. In Pune we used to have a lot of 1 BHK flats where a Single person can live in peace. Since past few days, I have been trying to find one in Hyderabad. But I have been told by Agents 1 BHKs dont exist in the Gachibowli area (with car parking) and I should share a 2/3 BHK with some one. How can I find a 1 BHK in Hyderabad - Gachibowli

You are very unlikely to find a 1BHK in Gachibowli area. This area, close to the Financial district and the Hi-Tech city, is one of the upcoming residential areas of Hyderabad, and has mostly high-rise apartments or gated communities, with a minimum of 3 bed room units. For a 1 BHK you will have to look at other locations. Try Doyen's colony - this is a nice residential locality, close to University of Hyderabad. This has independent houses mostly, and you are more likely to find a 1 BHK portion here. Try Kondapur. Again, slightly away from Gachibowli, but might work for you.
