  • Answer:

After you have qualified for U.K residency, you will need a minimum of GBP1,500 per week to survive in London, the current rate of exchange from pounds sterling to Indian ruppees is 98.83 , so 1,500 a week will cost you INR148,244 Rupees per week.

NO way! You cannot go to UK and look for work. ONLY qualified employers listed with the govt can hire qualified foreign workers & apply for their employment visas. Otherwise, you must qualify for immigration, be approved, and get your visa PRIOR to entry to UK. Not gonna happen! What are your qualifications? Which degrees do you hold from which internationally accredited universities in which field? And what experience do you have and what specialized expertise have you developed which is not available in UK or anywhere else in Europe/EU? You'll need at least a master's, more likely a PhD. Tens (even hundreds) of millions of Indians are trying to get into UK, EU, US, Canada, Australia, NZ, Singapore, and more. There is NO room for you anywhere. Worldwide labor glut of a billion adults with a billion more on track to enter the world's workforces within the decade. India is the largest single contributor to that labor glut. However, it is also the only remaining large country/economy which is still creating new jobs. Stay in India. You are not needed anywhere unless you have truly exceptional education and expertise. Bachelor's degree? Bah, humbug. About 20% of UK's homeless are university graduates who cannot find any jobs anywhere. No jobs for you. You need to find an internship in your field in your country. Even if it is unpaid, employers are only looking for exceptional performance, and you have to prove YOU are worth something. Your degree is not enough.

You can't just pack up and move to London to look for a job. Immigration laws won't allow it. You have to have a job first, and then MAYBE the company that hires you will pay your expenses to move.

You need a job and visa before you arrive in the UK. You can't come on a tourist visa and look for a job.

The money is irrelevant without a work visa. Work visas are only available for experienced workers who qualify for jobs on the occupation shortage list. The employer sponsors the visa; without this, you can't enter the UK and work. The cost of living depends on where you end up living; you can't guarantee a London job even if you do qualify for a job on the list.
