Unless your husband is an illegal alien, you don't need a lawyer for this. The application for AoS is rather simple, and the lawyer won't touch it. His office drone, who makes about $18 an hour, would fill out the forms with the information YOU have to provide and make copies of documents YOU have to provide, and the flat rate for this is about $2K to $3K normally. I would suggest you rather go to a self-help Web site such as http://www.visajourney.com and do this yourself. Nobody has as much interest in your petition as YOU have. If your husband is an illegal alien and you'll need either an I-601 or I-601A waiver, just look for an AILA attorney. Any of those guys or gals can do that for you.
