What is the best university in texas for the best law enforcement and army rotc program.?

    If you want to become an FBI Special Agent, consider choosing accounting, computer science, a foreign language that the FBI considers critical, or law as your college major. Any properly accredited college or university would be fine. Just choose whatever one you like that has an Army ROTC program. Texas A&M would be a good choice. Whatever major you choose, make the most of your time. Get the highest grade point average that you can, don't do anything illegal, and maintain a good reputation. Consider getting an advanced degree. Do whatever you can to make yourself the best candidate that you can. Keep a good driving record, don't get bad credit, improve all of your communication skills as much as possible, practice to improve your observation and memory skills, and become as physically fit as you can. Many federal agencies have criminal investigators or special agents. Consider the FBI, DEA, and other agencies too. Best of luck!

Truth Number 1: A Criminal Justice Degree is worthless. Any federal law enforcement agency would rather you have a science, engineering, accounting, medical or law degree. Look it up on the FBI's website if you don't believe me. Truth Number 2: The University of Texas and Texas A&M have largest and best funded Army ROTC programs in Texas without a doubt. Texas A&M even has the Corp of Cadets even you are into that type of thing. Plenty of opportunities in both universities, check out their websites.

@Integral X is spot on with Truth Number 1. A Degree in "Criminal Justice" is the new "Underwater Basketweaving" degree. For ROTC and earned respect from other military members you do four years in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M.
