    What did you do on Flickr? Did you just post images & expect to get critiques?? You need to participate on Flickr - tag images join relevant groups (including critique groups), add contacts & comment on others' work. Also - join a local camera/photography club - you will meet like minded people, learn new techniques & get meaningful ffedback on your work. Consider putting a link up to your photos on here - the competent regulars will give you honest feedback (you'll still get some 'awesome pic dude' responses though!)

Photosig is a good site for such things. Joining is free but you are limited to how many photos you can put up depending on your participation. Post some here and you will get plenty of good and bad critique! Also, join a Camera or Photographic club; there is usually one in most towns. You will learn a lot from other members and they have competitions where you can enter your shots.

While it is great to seek a critique, it is more important to seek a KNOWLEDGEABLE critique. Find a local camera club that has competitions judged anonymously buy qualified judges.

I live in a town that has a photographer's guild. You may be able to search for that in your town. Also look for a photographer's meetups. Other photographers will have no problem criticizing your work.
